FamilyBoard is designed so that your family’s information stays on your iPad. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. We operate no servers and require no accounts.

Data stored on your device

• Kids’ names, avatars, tasks, points, rewards, and history
• Parent PIN (stored as a salted hash in the device keychain)
• Cached calendar events

All of this lives only on your iPad. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Calendar access

If you connect a calendar, FamilyBoard reads events either:

• From your iPad’s Calendar app (with your permission), or
• Directly from Google Calendar (if you sign in with Google)

Events are displayed and cached on the device only. FamilyBoard never modifies, creates, or transmits your calendar data anywhere.

Google sign-in tokens are stored in the device keychain and can be revoked at any time by signing out.

Weather

If you enter a ZIP code for weather, the app sends that ZIP code (and nothing else) to two public services:

• zippopotam.us (to find coordinates)
• Open-Meteo (to fetch the forecast)

No identifiers accompany these requests.

Subscriptions

FamilyBoard Premium is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details or Apple ID.
